If they were honest in...
- What did you like most?Breakfast wasn't included, but we did enjoy a breakfast in their cafe. There was only one employee who had to take our order and cook it too. He worked hard to see we were happy and we appreciated his work. The front desk was very helpful, they were pleasant and did what they could to help us. The server at the bar in the evening was great and she made the evening enjoyable.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The reason we chose this hotel was because they advertised on Booking.com that they provided free airport shuttle service and even claimed to provide free shuttle service to Universal Studios. That sold me! I wanted to be sure, so I called the number on the Booking.com page and was told that yes they provided both services. I also checked the Coast website and it proclaimed that they indeed provided both services. I also noted on our reservation, we were interested in the shuttles. It was only several days later, that I got a response from the hotel that you must make a reservation for the shuttle in advance. It was a bit late to change our reservation, so I tried to reserve a ride from the airport first. We were told the shuttle doesn't run between 1 and 3pm. Of course, our flight comes in at 1pm, so we had to order a Lyft. We tried to order a shuttle to Universal Studios for Monday and Tuesday, and were able to get one shuttle on Monday to Universal, but had to find a bus to get back as none were available that afternoon, and in fact no shuttles were going on Tuesday. We didn't see any shuttles while we were there, so I'm not sure they ran more than one a day, if that. We did get one back to the airport, so that was good. Just not what we anticipated, with all the bragging on their ads about the shuttle. It didn't seem like there were many people staying at the hotel and very few workers around. In our room there was only decaf coffee available, the curtains were torn and knotted together to "fix it", but it looked sketchy.

- What did you like most?The front desk staff is excellent. The property is clean and very convenient. The bathrooms are next level.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Keep in mind that if you need the free shuttle to or from the airport, you need to request the service 2 weeks in advance. If you book last minute plan on paying for an Uber or Lift .
