Unsafe and Unprofessional Experience on...
- What did you like most?The room was ok
- Was there anything you didn't like?We stayed here on January 1st on a snowy day in Tahoe. When we entered our room, it was freezing cold because the heating had not been turned on. We contacted the front desk, and the manager and owner came into our room. Instead of addressing the issue, he raised his voice, insisted the room was warm, and repeatedly emphasized that he was the owner. Later, when we stepped out to get dinner, the same owner approached us again and asked if we were hotel guests, even though he had just been in our room. When we told him the room was still cold, he became aggressive and threatened to call the police if we did not leave. We no longer felt safe staying at the hotel and decided to book another place on a holiday night, which caused significant inconvenience and additional expense. The entire experience was unprofessional and intimidating, and we would not recommend staying here.
