Hotel Features
Hotel Des Arts is around the corner from the Kalverstraat shopping area, in the heart of Amsterdam. The Dam Square, Royal Palace and the Flower Market are all within 1640 feet. The recently renovated rooms in 2023 decorated with old-Dutch touches and come with a private bathroom. Some of the rooms look out over the Amstel river, others are located at the more quiet back of the hotel. Buffet breakfast with lot of choices is available each morning in the breakfast room. Hotel has a bar which serves besides coffee & tea, also lovely cocktails, cold drinks and snacks. Tram stop Spui leaves right across the street and offers easy access to Amsterdam Central Station and popular sites such as Rijksmuseum and the Anne Frank House. - What did you like most?The hotel was very good overall and I enjoyed my stay. The only issue was that there was no elevator, and my room was on the third floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, everything was fine and the staff were kind and helpful.
Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would stay there again.
